Let me in...(words of sugar)
Let your guard down..
Let my love feed you..
Let my lips taste you..
Let me show you life..
A place where you can go..
To stay..
FOREVER..
Or until we are no longer..
My heart could be your home..
Safe & secure
A place to be yourself..
Your bare naked self..
And Im not talking clothes..
Show me the you that no one else gets to see..
I could love you better
Give me the key!!
A chain around my neck is where I will keep it
You have been hurt before..
But I'm asking you to in trust me
I'm not leaving until you show me
Show me that you want me
Show me that you need me
Show me you believe in me
Let our hearts hold each other by the hand
I promise to show you something so beautiful
If you will just let me in...

Is There Room For Two...?
I don't like the word "swaggajacking" but I will say the Nicki did mimic Kim's style from the first picture I saw of her.
I heard Lil Kim on the radio and she is trying to drop a single no later than July and we all know how "beefs" gives for great publicity. So could this be one of those situations? Not saying that Kim is would ever have to worry about her career but Nicki is EVERYWHERE on EVERYTHING but so was Lil Kim in her prime, but she slowly faded. So was Foxy Brown in her prime, but she slowly faded. So was Eve, but she slowly faded... Let Nicki Minaj have her shine, female rappers have a bad rep! And they lack longevity in this game which is sad because it is empowering to me (when they are rapping about more than just their p***y) to see females in an industry that is so male dominating. When Kim first came out she said that it was sad how female rappers cant stick together like the males do.. I guess feelings change!
I feel like Kim is above this (though she is the one who "started" it) I don't think it makes much sense. She can drop an album anytime..anyday..any year. Nicki is new..shes hungry.. grinding, as a veteran in the game she should understand that.
We know Ray-J is Team Kim! & Drake is definitely Team Nicki! I'm on team JUST MAKE GOOD MUSIC.. period.
Ps.. Kim is looking good these days. I don't know what shes doing but she needs to keep it up!

a quote I made.. & once dedicated.. (words of sugar)
.....Almost.... (words of sugar)
Mostly on nights when my thoughts are running on energy of loneliness....
We could have been something bigger than both of us..
But we moved too fast and ended up crashing..
Clashing...
Disappearing from sight..
Perhaps if we would have moved slow...
Slow like time on a tired work day...
Maybe these words wouldn't be able to exist.
But do I miss the us that never existed?
OR
Do I miss the situation we put us in?
Simple things that I hadn't experienced in a while
Was bought to me fresh & new
Held at night
Being taken out
Picked up randomly
Long nights
Did one night change us? If it did..
Can I almost take it back?
We were far from something. I think I just miss the situation of things.. Being single and "lonely" nights just have me wondering...But I know when the time is right you will come back.. but your face may not look the same.. & I am fine with that!

a visual i had.. (words of sugar)
Of me..
I had no shoes on and I had on a dingy white dress
That had a blood stain upon my chest area...
with tears streaming from my eyes...
I just began to run..
I don't know where I started but i knew where it would end
Something was chasing me.
But
Every time I looked back.... Nothing..
I could see and feel movement but I could not make a face.
Still running..
Its as if I couldn't stop,
Honestly I had no desire to do so
Although I saw no one.. I felt a fear of something.
I am running...
I am still unsure of why my dress was dirty... why there was blood with no cut
As I ran toward this peaking of sunlight the blood began to fade...
As I ran toward this peaking of sunlight the tears began to dry
As I ran toward this peaking of sunlight my dress became clean
Once I reached this light I felt a weight disappear,
Like ... life.
I looked behind me... nothing... not even the image..
As i looked up I began to smile..
At that moment I realized...
I was running from LOVE....
To cut.. OR not to cut?
So how many females will be going into the salon and ask for the Rihanna Red Bowl Cut (RRBC) this summer? I believe some, if not many, will try this, but it takes MORE than a (pretty) face to wear a cut!
Te Amo...
Brown Sugar...
Will you forgive me?
So back to regular scheduled programming.. sit back.. relax and prepare to have your sweet tooth conquered..
Love

Ms. Lena Mary Calhoun Horne (June 30, 1917 – May 9, 2010)
Lena Horne, the ground-breaking singer, actress and civil rights activist who, in 1942, became the first African-American performer to be put under contract by a major studio, died on Sunday, May 9, at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. She was 92. According to the New York Times, Horne’s death was announced by her son-in-law, Kevin Buckley.
Though her movie career spanned nearly six decades and included a smattering of well-regarded films, like Stormy Weather (1943), Ziegfeld Follies (1946), and Meet Me in Las Vegas (1956), Horne was best known for her singing. Her music highpoints include blockbuster collaborations with Tony Bennett, Grammy-winning recordings of her Vegas nightclub act (1981′s The Lady and Her Music, Live on Broadway, and 1995′s An Evening With Lena Horne), and her Tony-nominated performance in the Broadway musical, Calypso. Horne grew up in an upper-middle-class African American enclave of Brooklyn, raised primarily by her grandparents after age 3, when both her parents left the family. By the time she was 16, Horne had scored a regular singing gig at Manhattan’s Cotton Club. Her knack for dramatic flourish and romantic renditions of jazz standards led to appearances on TV variety shows including The Ed Sullivan Show and The Dean Martin Show, as well as a role in the big-screen musical, The Duke Is Tops (1938). Though she never found the substantial, satisfying work she sought on film, Horne did make an impact, later in life, on TV in recurring roles on The Muppet Show and The Cosby Show.
Throughout her career, Horne was equally dedicated to her advocacy for civil rights. She was an early pioneer in the movement for equality, fighting for desegregation alongside such legends of the movement as Paul Robeson and Medgar Evers. She also fought with first lady Eleanor Roosevelt to pass anti-lynching laws. The combination of Horne’s disarming talent and fierce individuality created a powerful force in breaking down racial barriers in Hollywood and beyond.
Horne is survived by her daughter, Gail Lumet Buckley. Horne’s husband and her son both died in 1971, the latter of kidney failure

Bodies..
I watch the news everyday but today this "news" made my stomach turn and my heart hurt. Chamber's Funeral Home & Crematorium license was suspended today. After the Riverdale, MD funeral home was inspected 40 bodies stacked over 12 feet high in body bags were found in the garage.
There seem to have been no complaints from family members of those deceased individuals, so what remains where these families given?I can not imagine how hurt or shocked the families of those found are. As of right now they have been ordered to to cremate all the bodies and will be shut down, but will they have to tell the families that "Yes your mother, father, brother, son, sister, or daughter was one of those stored in the garage". I am actually ashamed at the fact the owners want to fight the suspension saying that ALL of them were not actual bodies.
My prayers are with these individuals, the families for the pain & the morticians for their sick minds.
This is the Funeral Home http://www.chambersfuneralhomes.com/
What I watched this morning..Fox 5 news... sad
